Wittgenstein traveling exhibition at the University of Debrecen

A traveling exhibition was opened in the Main Building of the University of Debrecen on the occasion of the centenary of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s work “The Odyssey of Tractatus – 100 Years of the Logical-Philosophical Dissertation”.

Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein (Vienna, 26 April 1889 – Cambridge, 29 April 1951) is an Austrian philosopher, one of the most influential thinkers of the twentieth century, who made significant contributions to the development of logic, philosophy of mathematics and philosophy of language.

The newly opened exhibition, a project of the Vienna-based Wittgenstein Initiative, has been on display in many countries since 2018.

The other domestic stations of the exhibition will be: Szombathely, Pécs and Szeged.
