Students took their final exams in agriculture in an old-new major

University

The students of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management, who graduated with an undivided five-year master’s degree, passed their final exam. Through the faculty’s forward-looking training development, they have been the first since 2004 to complete the classic 5-year degree program.

After the introduction of the Bologna system, the five-year full-time course in agricultural engineering was replaced in 2000 by the BSc in agricultural engineering and the specific MSc in the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management at the University of Debrecen. Taking into account the labor market needs of agricultural companies, the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Managementrestarted the course in 2017, with twenty-two graduating this year.
