McDonald’s decreased its equity capital to 1 billion HuF from 6,5 billion.A few weeks ago Golden Arches European Holdings B. V., owner of McDonald’s decided to reduce the equity capital of the company in Hungary to only 1 billion HuF – reported the website vg.hu.
The announcement was not commented by the company, however they said that despite of reducing their equity capital in Hungary, they do wish to remain an active participant of Hungarian economy.
McDonald’s has closed almost 4000 of its restaurants worldwide recently because of a re-organization programme that is in progress at the moment.
